Limitations of turnkey QMSes like Greenlight Guru
Jarod Markley
Jarod Markley explains why Recovery Force Health moved from rigid, turnkey eQMS tools like Greenlight Guru to Unifize. Large solutions that are out there today, you have to either take what they have as a solution and conform your process to it or brute force other solutions to adapt or configure those tools to work as your organization wants it to. I'd used other systems, such as MasterControl from a previous company. So when I joined Recovery Force Health in 2022, we were utilizing Greenlight Guru as our eQMS

and really our implementation of the system was as a document repository. Greenlight Guru required every individual to have a full access license for us to even generate records such as non-conformances or customer feedbacks. We weren't utilizing any of the other features that the system had. Problem with Greenlight Guru is that it's turnkey and so there's no customization of their processes.

You’d have to follow their non-conformance process. There might be pieces of information that we would want to have as metadata, able to be rendered in the solution that is dictated through a turnkey solution, such as Greenlight Guru. Whereas with Unifize, we’re able to build and configure robust processes to our needs. Being scalable, customizable, where we are able to implement very quickly a process that fits our needs.
Your team has a story like this waiting.
Bring the process that hurts most. We will run it on Unifize, live, on your own work.
