[00:00 - 00:24]
So because we're in a regulated environment, as I mentioned, we have doc control and we have to have reviewers, approvers and a lot of systems out there will offer you the digital signatures and 21 CFR part 11 compliance, which is the set of regulations that applies to digital documentation and signatures and Unifize, has this amazing approval workflows that we've used.

[00:24 - 01:00]
I mean, we use it for raw materials, for suppliers, for formulas, for quotes, for product release, for raw material, Lot release every Lot, every day where we're using that workflow. And what I mean by that is they it's a button click and they just like a lot of digital signatures work, but built into it is automatic notifications. One example that comes to mind that has been incredibly helpful as I've started to get my arms around our formulation and our new product development and customer onboarding has been our request for quotes and it starts, the person starts it, then they click a button sign saying, This is what I want.

[01:00 - 01:29]
It immediately goes to my quotation specialist who then it says Hey at. His name is Benjamin. Um, this quotes ready for you to make. He attaches it request approval, goes back to the person, says Here's your quote. What do you think? Basically and these automatic notifications, owners, changing of owners, removing people, adding people at each step when you need to really helps the I think the undiscovered aspect of it is a lot of times people go sign blind.

[01:29 - 01:49]
I call it when they get inundated with emails because by nature they're everybody's own all at once. But being able to segment it through the checklist and Unifize through the approvals and Unifize and add and subtract people at the right stages, stops people from or helps mitigate people from ignoring these notifications because they're only notified when it is them actually,

[01:49 - 02:04]
Using the approval workflows and the collaboration allows me to, for example, myself, I'll get a notification that it's my turn. I'm up to bat, so to speak, and if I have questions, I ask it in the environment prior to signing. I don't have to go find people don't have to call people.

[02:04 - 02:20]
I don't have meetings, I don't have to have emails. I'm actually asking, Hey, wait, what about this aspect before I sign? And then once I'm comfortable, I get comfortable signing through the collaboration. And so it actually makes that the intent behind having approvers, it makes it all the more meaningful.

[02:20 - 02:42]
I mean, the the digital signature and approval workflows, streamline my Lot, release unfinished goods, as I mentioned, because before that was email back and forth. Now my quality supervisor uploads the test upload to see if a clicks a button says, All right, I'm done, and it goes right to the customer because I select the customer by selecting the customer at the beginning, it automatically knows who that's going to go to and when she clicks her button, it goes to those.

[02:42 - 02:50]
The appropriate people say, Hey, this is ready for you to release. And again, something that used to take days at times takes minutes at worst.

But what we've known from what I experience was, is we were able to get there with the system. We still there with the system. The system has what is needed to provide us what we're looking for, because every company, admittedly, is trying to get compliant. If we educate people, if we get people the education that they need and to get over the fear factor, I think 90% of those things can be resolved because most people will go to what they're most familiar with. What I worked with from a different company, but they're not willing to sit down and look at what the demographics are saying. People are into social media now. People are moving fast into fast paced world. But technologies are still antiquated. So there's a disconnect here, right? So while we're moving at a fast pace at home with dragging at work, so why can't we continue that speed while we at work?If your supplier has issues and you're not informed on time, you want to have an alternate supplier in place. If your suppliers are not qualified, you may not know that that needs to happen. And so when you have an integrated system that speaks to itself and is giving you all this data, you literally have the pulse of the organization in your hands as an executive at a money bound access.
