In this insightful video, Dave Anderson discusses the pivotal shift from paper-based processes to cloud-based solutions with Unifize. He shares the historical challenges of managing quality control and inventory through cumbersome paper records, detailing how these processes were prone to errors and inefficiency. With Unifize, Dave explains the transition to digital record-keeping, highlighting the platform's ability to foster smaller, focused discussion groups for problem-solving, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged in real-time. This digital transformation has significantly enhanced accuracy, collaboration, and resolution speed within his organization.

We're still trying to solve the same problems we are today. But Unifize has simplified it.

00:06 - 00:19
Basically when I started and long before I started in the quality department, everything was paper based. So somebody had a problem. Someone needed to scrap something out. Somebody needed to do some rework.

00:19 - 00:24
Some of them just need parts remade because they can't find them. That was all done by paper.

00:24 - 00:40
We would release the paperwork out to the floor and sometimes it would come back so we could gather of the, you know, the labor, the material costs, all that and get it reported. So inventory control specialists can do their job of keeping our inventory accurate.

00:40 - 00:55
Great thing about Unifize is it has created smaller groups of discussion when problems arise and we can collaborate through those conversations and we produce those records basically online.

00:55 - 01:03
Everybody that needs to be involved knows what's going on and what's in front of them all the time to come to a resolution of whatever the issue is.
