What does collaboration mean to Carol with Unifize

Well, okay, collaboration for me is walking across the street or picking up the phone that doesn't always work.

And now we're back to you’re going back to the email and it's easily defined.

You already know you got an email on it.

It came back and says, oops, this is an art, a return goods form.

And now you need to go in Unifize and see what really is wrong.

Or you could punch on the button right there and it takes you there.

But either way it is a live tool to go immediately, to look to see what's wrong.

After that, you either type in your response, but if it gets real detailed in, again I will have to pick up a phone and say, “This isn't clear enough for the supplier to understand. There's going to be a lot of questions here.” So then it gets revised a little bit, then it's ready to send to the supplier.

You cannot contact the people when you need to contact them.

In what I do, if I can't do it right away, I'm moving on to something else. Now you forgot. And you can't go back.

But once it’s in Unifize, It's there. It pops up on everybody's screen that's in that group. They can't forget. I mean, it's popped there now.

You might have pushed it aside and you may come back, but once they touch the button or make a change, it comes right back to you. So, you know, somebody’s looked at it.

So the other way is it's like you start your morning and 8:00, Yep, there's a problem here.

You need to look at this and okay, now someone else comes to your desk.

And did you forget to tell them to look at something else? Maybe.

But once you are in Unifize, you're done. It already tells you what you need to be doing. Or if they have questions, they come back through that. The email and the collaboration. “Hey, this is yours. You need to respond here.”
