Importance of collaboration between Product Development and Quality

So I think the collaboration between product development and quality is extremely important because as you're creating a formula and looking for what ingredients should be used, you should be reviewing the full documentation, looking for the country of origin. Does it align with where that ingredient was grown? What carriers are being used? What's the cost? What other products are we using this in? And that's all shown in Unifize.

With Unifize, It's helped with consolidating documentation review.

So, for example, if we approved a vitamin D, someone else I work with can go into the program see it's already reviewed. They don't need to re-review the documentation, find out about costing.

It's all documented. Any changes are made. It's you know, you can see it right there. So it has really helped to streamline the ingredient review process.

It's helped with the creation of master formulas. So previously and I still do this to double check against the master formula that's created in Unifize.

Once it's in the system that it's in the system. Any changes that are made have to be documented.

So it's brought a lot more accountability and compliance to making sure that the exact formula that we want to be created is being created.
