Unifize is collaborative nature helped really ingrain whether people know it or not, a culture of continuous improvement? Because by asking questions, by engaging within each individual event, it everybody now is part of the whole. And I think that's a lot of companies, a lot of systems, a lot of aspects missed the boat on that one. Understanding culture is built brick by brick, person by person, event by event.

If you're constantly looking at an event like an Out of Spec, as if it's unique, not able to ever step back and see it's part of the whole, then everybody isolates in silos. And that's I mean, that's a buzzword that everybody likes to use. But the collaborative nature of Unifize allows people to collaborate about this, get used to collaborating about it, and before they know it, they're very engaged in all of it, and everybody is part of this whole.

As such, you can then focus not on what's going on right now, but where you want to go. And that to me is definition of continuous improvement. And again, it's it's ingrained in the culture by virtue of this collaboration.

So as I've said before, quality isn't a revenue generator.

  5. 1:09

And and people like to use this illustration of quality isn't a problem till it's a major problem. So by doing our job where you don't think your seatbelt because you didn't crash that day, but you want the seatbelt when you crash, that's how I think about quality is it's not a revenue generator. And a mentor of mine once told me the cost savings and cost and cost avoidance is not revenue, and I understand that.

But because Unifize has this high visibility of everything, everywhere, all the time, all at once, it's impossible for people to not acknowledge what we've done, how we've increased throughput, and helped me build that model that I always want to build and always try to build of quality. Being there as a supportive function, not just pointing out the problems.

  7. 1:57

And when you see, you know, it's hard to get thanked for the mistakes you didn't make and Unifize because of this real time collaboration and effective communication, you you actually do see what the accidents you didn't get in. And by Unifize having that, it allows me to change our culture to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Day one, you're engendering a culture of continuous improvement. You don't know it. You don't see it till one day you turn around and say, Wow, everybody is rowing in the same direction. And those are sort of these unintended, massively helpful consequence of rolling out Unifize that I saw is that communication breakdowns fell away, that visibility and unnecessary meetings and unnecessary emails and unnecessary phone calls went away.

And I genuinely could focus on doing my job better every day. And I truly believe across the organization that's true for everyone at all levels.
