Future of Unifize in Efco

Pretty much for the quality department we run the bread and butter is quality action ticket. That's where we get all our records and hear very soon, we've been at this almost a year, we're going to be able to start spotting trends now and react to those trends, whether it's employee related, equipment related, part related, part design related.

That's where I'm headed with Unifize. We also have another company inside our doors called Swap Order.

Paul is he has some really cool processes going with how they are dealing with warranty claims with their distributors or their customer base and even their quality, they're running their own quality records through the quality department, of course, but it's kind of a separate entity of how they're using it compared to Efco.

We have some logistics to work through and what we can be approved for or whatever, but as far as SOPs go, we have a first piece inspection here that's still paper based.

You're on your first piece inspection and fill out a piece of paper, you know what the part is? They're met, either passed or fail. I want to get that on Unifize.

It's kind of created inside there now. But logistically, we have machines set so far away from a supervisor's computer now, run down there, run back, run down there.

But looking at staging strategically staging tablets on the floor, with the Unifize app, is go on there punch in the information part number pass fail and keep track of it that way get rid of even more paper usage.
