See how Unifize simplifies creating controlled documents directly from approved templates. This video demonstrates selecting the right document type, linking the latest template, collaborating with your team, and routing drafts for approval, ensuring every work instruction, policy, or procedure stays compliant and version-controlled from creation to release.

00:04 - 00:07
Hi, I'm Victor. Today, I’ll show you how Ops and Quality teams use Unifize to create controlled and compliant documents,

00:07 - 00:13
like work instructions, procedures and policies directly from approved templates.

00:13 - 00:18
From My Inbox, I'm going to create a new document. Let's call this a ‘Vendor Onboarding Procedure’.

00:18 - 00:25
When I create this, you can see that it automatically adds the team and the users to collaborate with me on this document.

00:25 - 00:31
The document starts in the draft state, and these are the steps we need to follow to get it approved and distributed to the right teams.

00:31 - 00:39
You can see the owner, the participants, and a place to assign a due date. On the checklist, you can see that I can first select the document type.

00:39 - 00:45
When I do this, I have options for work instruction, procedure, policy, and other types of documents.

00:45 - 00:53
If I select ‘Work Instruction’, you can see that a work instruction template pops up. But since this is a procedure, I'm going to select ‘Procedure’.

00:53 - 01:00
Now you can see we have the latest version of the procedure template available for download. If you're using our SharePoint integration you can fetch documents from there.

01:00 - 01:10
One of the major benefits of Unifize is that you can create, revise, and approve your templates as a separate process while being sure that you have the latest version of the template linked to the document draft.

01:11 - 01:15
Once you've completed the draft of the document, you can upload it to this document record here.

01:15 - 01:30
You can then collaborate with your team members to get feedback and request approvals. Unifize will then handle all the subsequent approval steps along with change controls, revision management and training.

01:30 - 01:36
You can generate and view approved documents as PDFs with embedded QR codes and a covering sheet like this.

01:36 - 01:40
