Auto generating reports with formulas using Unifize

The formulas finally got in in which is it was really hard because I wasn't quite ready with how I wanted the flow of the Unifize essentially to work.

And now since that's done and I've been running a bunch of tests today and I mean it's it's going pretty smoothly, I'd say.

The dollar amount that I'm tasked with, which is scrap and rework. People want to know how much scrap dollar it is, how many rework dollars are in each department. Why do we have those?

And so the formula basically is getting rid of me, having to use Access because there's formulas based in there, which is like unit material weight plus unit material labor times the quantity of the part times our overhead.

So that's the formula, right? To get the total cost of that part that we scrapped.

So basically it's just being they just got in the, auto generator like so everything now is just filling out itself because we have our part numbers in there and it's like we don't have to take it out of Unifize to put it into Access to run my quality report anymore.

You know what I mean? And it's it's pretty sweet.

I think that I won't have to sit at my computer for, 3 hours running quality reports because it will automatically run those reports themselves like they're as soon as you enter that part, like the scrap value and everything is already totaled up.

So I don't have to go into Access, run reports and stuff like that. It'll already be there. Right.

So if I want to go in for Department 121, which is lasers and see over the last two months what it scrapped out, you can go to through that filtering process and you can go over.

You can put rework dollars in there, your scrap dollars in there, the weight in there, everything's just ready.

But what we've known from what I experience was, is we were able to get there with the system. We still there with the system. The system has what is needed to provide us what we're looking for, because every company, admittedly, is trying to get compliant. If we educate people, if we get people the education that they need and to get over the fear factor, I think 90% of those things can be resolved because most people will go to what they're most familiar with.What I worked with from a different company, but they're not willing to sit down and look at what the demographics are saying. People are into social media now. People are moving fast into fast paced world. But technologies are still antiquated. So there's a disconnect here, right? So while we're moving at a fast pace at home with dragging at work, so why can't we continue that speed while we at work?If your supplier has issues and you're not informed on time, you want to have an alternate supplier in place. If your suppliers are not qualified, you may not know that that needs to happen. And so when you have an integrated system that speaks to itself and is giving you all this data, you literally have the pulse of the organization in your hands as an executive at a money bound access.
