Unifize has been incredibly powerful for me to manage change because truthfully, management of change is a very hard process because and in my experience it goes one of two ways. People want to document every change. I remember one company, they wanted to do a whole management of change meeting about switching toilet paper suppliers, and that was just ridiculous.

[00:23 - 00:38]
But that's one end where they go too far. And then there are those who make changes and then you don't know when or where or how or who or what. And so Unifize has through its versioning. That's one huge tool I can take. Let's take an ingredient spec for example. And I say, You know what, the spec wasn't right.

[00:38 - 00:51]
I can do a revision and it takes all the existing data, transpose it to version two, and then I have a time date a aware of who and approval. And that's so effortless relative to what management change used to be.

[00:51 - 01:17]
Historically and at other companies and even here when I started change management was emails, questions, requests, a lot of back and forth. So first and foremost, by putting it in the chat, I've cut the time dramatically. I've cut the visibility of, increase the visibility dramatically and the effectiveness of the management of change process. Again, it just like everything else, starts to gain its own life because people see how easy it is and after they do one, then they're like, You know what?

[01:17 - 01:31]
I have some other ideas, and it actually becomes rather than doing a management of change process because you have to, it allows us to use it for what I believe management of change regulations and guidelines were meant for, and that's continuous improvement.

But what we've known from what I experience was, is we were able to get there with the system. We still there with the system. The system has what is needed to provide us what we're looking for, because every company, admittedly, is trying to get compliant. If we educate people, if we get people the education that they need and to get over the fear factor, I think 90% of those things can be resolved because most people will go to what they're most familiar with. What I worked with from a different company, but they're not willing to sit down and look at what the demographics are saying. People are into social media now. People are moving fast into fast paced world. But technologies are still antiquated. So there's a disconnect here, right? So while we're moving at a fast pace at home with dragging at work, so why can't we continue that speed while we at work?If your supplier has issues and you're not informed on time, you want to have an alternate supplier in place. If your suppliers are not qualified, you may not know that that needs to happen. And so when you have an integrated system that speaks to itself and is giving you all this data, you literally have the pulse of the organization in your hands as an executive at a money bound access.
