Unifize is selected as one of ten outstanding companies for entry into the exclusive, US-based accelerator’s inaugural class in India.
Bangalore, India – February 2019 – Unifize Inc., a technology company that builds a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for manufacturers, has been selected to be part of the first Techstars Bangalore Accelerator.
During the 3 month intensive program, Techstars will provide Unifize with complete access to the tools they need to succeed – qualified advice, mentorship from professionals, global connections to leading corporates, as well as USD 120,000 in capital.
“We chose Unifize because they have exactly the right mix of industry experience and technology to make a huge impact on the underserved manufacturing and engineering segments,” Ray Newal, Managing Director of Techstars India said, “They are going to transform the way physical products are designed, built and sold.”
Started in 2018 by co-founders Lakshman Thatai, Ben Merton and Avinash Sultanpur, Unifize’s communication platform enables manufacturing companies to reduce wasted time by up to 70%.
“Unlike other accelerator programs, Techstars believes that great companies can be built anywhere in the world,” said Ben Merton, Co-Founder & CEO, “We’re excited to join such a prestigious programme, and look forward to working with the Techstars ecosystem to solve some of the real-world problems faced by manufacturing and engineering businesses around the world today.”
