Internal audits require preparation and collaboration across multiple teams, and often, in-person presence. On Unifize, each internal audit is a real-time conversation. That means that auditors can collaborate asynchronously with auditees and allow participants to prepare for audits in advance. This makes audits easier to understand and conduct.
The audit status and checklist are divided into 5 stages – plan, prepare, execute, review and follow-up. In planning, dates, teams, scope, auditors, departments and relevant standards are defined. In the prepare stage, auditors can review previous audits and note down pending issues or deviations. In the execute stage, all participants fill out the major portions of the audit – inputs/outputs to processes, documents reviewed, supporting processes, and assets. A series of tasks can be created and tracked here for the auditee to provide evidence as required.
In the review stage, auditors note down findings (that could result in corrective action), risks and other observations. In the review stage, the auditor notes down closing meeting info and creates corrective actions as required. Each corrective action can be assigned and tracked independently from the audit in a separate conversation. All auditees and participants can upload files to the conversation and add notes as if they were in an actual meeting.
All files and changes to data can be observed and corrected in real-time. A customizable pdf can be printed at the end and emailed/filed as required.
